Biome Introduction
There are nine biomes in the world. These website is going to introduce you to the nine biomes. The website will describe all the biotic and abiotic factors there are in the biomes. In here we will describe the type of soil the biome has and the type of vegetation and climate the biome has. So stay with us and lean more about the places and climates you live in because its important to know how they work.
Desert
The desert is very hot, at nighttime its vice versa. The desert does not receive a drop of water for months because its very dry. deserts have a main plant that lives there are the cactus like the
barrel cactus the tempeture can get really high because of the heat there is. Animals that live there are: snakes, foxes, camels, and scorpions etc. in deserts one of the main plants are the cactus. These is one of the main plants you can find in the desert.

Tundra
the tundra is near north and south poles and it receives less than 25 cm of precipitation. the temperature is kind of temperature is freezing -12 degrees celsius and the tundra has a really bad soil because its always summer but in summer it becomes better. during winter receives not sunlight, summer is vice versa and animals that live there are migratory birds, polar bears etc.
grasslands
the grassland have about 25-75 cm of precipitation so it has little rain. grasslands are temperate and tropical and some types of grasslands are prairies, plains, steeps, savanna, and palms. a tree thats leaves here is a olive tree. grasslands are warm and have fertile soil so its good to plant things. its very sunny except when it raining, and mammals mostly live there. some examples are : kangaroos, wildebeest, impalas, and zebras. Wheat, rye, oats, and corn are some things that grow there.
temperate deciduous forest
these biome has four seasons. it has about 75-150cm of precipitation and winter is below 0 degrees Celsius and summer is about thirty degrees celsius. you can find lots of evergreen trees and has good soil. there is good sunlight and some animals that live there are: white-tail deer, foxes, and rabbits.
taiga
the taiga is to the south of the tundra. these is the worlds biggest biome. it has cold and forest region and its warmer and better than tundra the latitude is about 50 degrees north and 60 degrees north. snows 35cm to 100cm each year. soils thaw during summer and has many migratory birds, like eagles.
Tropical rainforest
the average temperature is about 25 degrees Celsius. it receives at least 200cm of rain, and can get until 600cm. It has astonishing variety of organisms and its near the equator so its warm. a type of warm that lives here and can carry deceases are the leeches and there phylum of the kingdom animalia is the annelida. there is live in different zones like the: forest floor, understory, canopy, emergent soil so there are few nutrients. and because they have a high number of organisms they live in the soil. toucans, bears,
frogs, monkeys, and jaguars are some animals that live in the tropical rainforest.

temperate rainforest
the difference between tropical rainforest and rain forest is really interesting because the climate both biomes have because its different and they change . in the rain forest theres a lot of sunlight, because its partly forest. the annual temperature range is about 9°c-12°c and the precipiation is about 200-400 cm of rain per year .the type of vegetation you can find there is good because of the temperature. some animals that live there are: black bear,
turtles( if temperate rainforest are near oceans),jaguars, and toucans. and the soil is good. a common animal that lives in humid places is the snail. a coast redwooD IS A TREE THAT LIVES HERE BECAUSE THESE BIOME HAS THE nutrients that it needs to grow.
